Dell studies report demand for AI-optimized servers

In Q2 Dell noticed an 80% year-over-year enhance in AI-optimized server income with a robust backlog and pipeline

Dell reported Q2 income  of $25 billion, up 9% year-over-year with report income of $11.6 billion for the Infrastructure Options Group (ISG), which was up 38% year-over-year. The Shopper Options Group (CSG) was down 4% year-over-year to $12.4 billion; income on the industrial shopper aspect was flat at $10.6 billion.

Working earnings was $1.3 billion within the quarter, up 15% year-over-year. Money move from operations was $1.3 billion, and Dell returned $1 billion to shareholders by share repurchases and dividends. “In Q2 our mixed ISG and CSG income was $24.1 billion, up 12% year-over-year, positioning us nicely for the second half of the 12 months and past,” CFO Yvonne McGill stated in an announcement. “Our momentum in ISG is a major tailwind.”
