I exploit PDF Professional to learn and take notes on PDFs in iPadOS.
The app’s software bar (on the high) hides itself mechanically when annotating. Generally tapping the sting of the web page brings it again, however normally it would not. There isn’t any seen indicator of e.g. this system switching modes or states each time the toolbar is hidden completely.
This is a matter as a result of, with the toolbar hidden, I can not “save and shut” a PDF. It looks as if annotations will not be written to the backing storage with out this motion, so as soon as the app toolbar vanishes for good, the process to save lots of work turns into convoluted. I’ve to open the doc in a second window (which now has the toolbar), shut the damaged window (with toolbar completely hidden), then return to the brand new window to save lots of modifications and exit.
I am assuming that is person error, and that PDF Professional silently switches between two modes, considered one of which has an obscure sequence of actions to indicate the toolbar? Does anybody know the gesture or secret code to indicate the toolbar in PDF Professional when the conventional technique of hold-tapping the sting is disabled?
If related, this can be an interplay with the iPad pencil, however I’ve experimented with switching out and in of that and could not discover a gesture that recovered the software bar.
