Mercedes AMG E63 price in India: Mercedes AMG E63S and AMG E 53 launched in India, starts at Rs 1.02 crore |


Mercedes-Benz India on Thursday launched the all-new AMG E 63 S at Rs 1.70 crore and E 53 at Rs 1.02 crore (ex-showroom) in the market.
With the launch, it will mark the return of the E 63 S model in the Indian market, while the E 53 mild-hybrid model will debut on the Indian roads.
Under the hood of Mercedes-AMG E 63 S 4Matic+ is a 4.0-litre V8 bi-turbo engine mated to a nine-speed AMG Speedshift automatic transmission.
It churns out 612hp of power and 850Nm of torque. It provides 0-100 kmph acceleration in just 3.4 seconds.

With the AMG E 63 S 4MATIC, one also gets the AMG rear axle differential lock which makes your vehicle even more agile, giving you enhanced driving pleasure.
On the other hand, Mercedes-AMG E 53 4Matic+ gets a 3.0-litre, inline-6 cylinder turbocharged with EQ Boost 48V mild-hybrid engine mated to 9-speed AMG Speedshift Automatic transmission. It is capable to deliver 435 bhp of power and 520Nm of torque. In addition, with EQ boost, it churns out additional 21hp power and 250Nm of torque.
Additionally, it features a central cooling air inlet in the restyled front section is which is significantly larger and bears the AMG-specific radiator grille with twelve vertical louvres and central star.
Mercedes-AMG E 63 S and E 53 sit on the AMG designed 19-inch alloy wheels. The company will also offer 20-inch wheels as options.
In terms of exterior appearance, both the cars feature the signature Panamericana grille at the front. The front bumper on the E 53 features the AMG line design in bold. While the E 63S model’s bumper gives a more aggressive look with more vents. It also gets a bonnet with pronounced powerdomes, panoramic sliding sunroof and AMG rear apron with diffuser in high-gloss black and 2 fins plus trim strip in silver chrome.

The headlamps on both cars are adaptive LEDs with a single LED eye-brow DRL. Both come with a pair of LED taillamps, quad-LED exhaust outlets and a gloss back finish to the diffusers at the bottom of the rear bumpers. They also offer all-LED brake lights where in case of sharp breaking, the brake lights start to flash conspicuously giving a powerful signal for following traffic.
AMG E63 S offers high performance brake system with brake discs internally ventilated and perforated. It also features an eyecatching feature of the red-painted brake calipers with “AMG” lettering on the brake system.
The interior of the AMG models borrows some designs from the standard E-class but get a widescreen cockpit, AMG-specific steering wheel featuring AMG buttons with haptic feedback, aluminium paddle-shifters, and AMG-specific graphics for the instrument cluster.

The AMG seats are upholstered in nappa leather and have an AMG-specific seat upholstery layout with an “AMG” badge in the front seat backrests. Individually adjustable ambient lighting also comes as standard.
Other features include MBUX infotainment system with a touchscreen and touchpad, the intelligent voice control plus, ambient lighting, automatic AC, heated front seats, , Mercedes Me Connect suite for connected car technology, head-up display (AMG E 63 S), advanced driver assistance system. They also AMG Track Pace system that will allow drivers to track and share their driving performance.
For the instrument cluster’s display, customers can switch between the three AMG display styles of “Modern Classic”, “Sport” and “Supersport”.
The additional features of AMG E 63 S 4M+ include the AMG Performance 4MATIC+ all-wheel drive and the drift mode through which the car becomes a purely rear-wheel drive vehicle. It offers six DYNAMIC SELECT drive programs of “Slippery”, “Comfort”, “Sport”, “Sport+”, “Individual” and “RACE” while the E 53 offers five DYNAMIC SELECT drive programs “Slippery”, “Comfort”, “Sport”, “Sport+” and “Individual”.
